Vulcan has committed to an ongoing conveyor belt maintenance contract for the twin stream coal plant. Detailed belt condition surveys are carried every 3 months. A recommended action report is presented to the site management which triggers planned belt changes and repairs. Vulcan operates vulcanising presses to service up to 1800mm wide belting. The typical specification on this site is EP1250/4.

Vulcan has been working closely with ERIKS UK to manage the conveyor maintenance at a number of key glass manufacturing plants. They run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year so 100% belt availability is critical. Belt changes are planned well in advance and unforeseen breakdowns have now been minimised.

Vulcan is responsible for a fast response belt fitting and maintenance contract at this pigment manufacturing facility. Vulcan is proud to work with the global Huntsman brand.
LSS Waste Management, Leeds.
Since this leading waste recycling facility opened its new site in 2005, Vulcan has maintained the critical conveyor scheme, which often runs 24-hours. The waste handling installation includes 1200mm wide C25 chevron conveyor belting.
