At Vulcan, we consider Health & Safety as a fundamental theme across our business. It is an area of constant attention and improvement. We are keen to engage with our clients to address specific safety risks and introduce improvements.
Safety Training
Our site fitters hold the following certificates:
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- EPIC SPA Quarry Safety Passport.
Additional third party accredited training includes:
- RTITB Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck.
- PASMA Mobile Access Tower.

Risk Assessment & Method Statement
Vulcan frequently reviews the risks associated with its activities both in our own premises and on site. It is working practice to issue a method statement which defines our adopted working systems for conveyor belt installation and maintenance.
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Vulcan’s electrical equipment is routinely inspected under the statutory PAT-testing requirements by a qualified inspector. Vulcan employs an independent electrical engineer for consultation and repair work to ensure that all electrical equipment is safe and in good operating order.
PAT-test records are available on request.
